Updating Psychology Today directory for COVID-19

Psychology Today has added an option to their directory where providers can add a short message telling potential clients how they are handling sessions and office matters during the pandemic. This makes it possible to add COVID-19 information to your profile without having to alter the existing profile that you probably massaged endlessly to fit into the directory’s length limitations.

The COVID-19 Statement itself allows only 140 characters , so you’ll need to work on your editorial efficiency again. Being careful not to include information already presented elsewhere in my profile, I went with this text:

I see clients via teletherapy, using a reliable, HIPPA-compliant Web platform. Intake paperwork is processed online. Call to schedule appt.
